About The Project
The BEHEALTH project aims at assisting VET providers in nursing education, on their progress towards permanence of quality assurance practices. The main objective of BEHEALTH is to improve QA provision and practices of VET education and WBL in the nursing field through the promotion of self-evaluation and action planning.
Specific objectives
- Develop a comprehensive guide to EU Quality Assurance frameworks, specifically for the nursing sector, setting a new benchmark for excellence.
- Create robust Quality Assurance frameworks for organizations offering nursing qualifications and WBL opportunities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of education and practice.
- Assist VET providers and organisations offering WBL continuously assess and enhance their QA processes.

- Other stakeholders include healthcare institutions, associations of nurses, national/regional/EU authorities in VET education and nursing, researchers, professional associations, healthcare foundations etc.

IEK DELTA 360 is the second largest Vocation Education and Training Centre in Greece. IEK DELTA 360 is certified by the Greek Ministry of Education and the E.U. and offers Post-Secondary Training Programs of EQF Level 5. The European Health Futures Forum was set up in 2013 as an NGO dedicated to supporting actions leading to the improvement of the health of the citizens of Europe. Initially incorporated in the UK as a not-for-profit organisation, in 2017 it established itself in Ireland and the following year was granted Charity status by the Irish Charities Regulatory Authority.
Important aspects of its stated mission include providing the forum as a resource for stakeholders to seek, process and exchange knowledge and information to influence the future of health and healthcare in Europe, especially via international cooperation, supporting the current EU policy directions and provide a better understanding of future possibilities in this area to EU and national policymakers. Secondly, to promote a holistic view of health including the promotion of disease prevention and the maintenance of good health, as part of societal well-being and to focus on the potential for transformational change through health, education and business working together.
The Mamak District Directorate of National Education, established in 1984, stands as a stalwart institution dedicated to the comprehensive development of education within its jurisdiction. The directorate has structured its administration into 10 branches and 23 sections, each serving a specific purpose in the educational landscape. The Basic Education Unit lays the groundwork for students‘ academic journeys, focusing on primary and elementary education to provide a solid foundation for future learning. This unit oversees the critical phase of secondary education, ensuring a smooth transition for students into more specialized fields of study. Catering to the needs of students inclined towards practical skills and technical expertise, this unit plays a pivotal role in preparing the workforce of the future.
Trebag Intellectual Property and Project Management Ltd is a Hungarian private company and a certified Living Lab (Nagykovacsi Innovation Lodge and Wellbeing Living Lab) with a huge network locally and regionally among stakeholders and actors in various sectors. DEKAPLUS is a vocational education and training organisation, primarily focusing on the development of competencies and skills of SME management and first-line staff. DEKAPLUS is a qualified and certified training centre since commencing its operations in 2006, and offers vocational short courses in the following areas:

The Faculty of Health Sciences is the youngest faculty of the
Catholic University in Ružomberok
. The goals and tasks of the school are realised in close cooperation with the Central Military Hospital of the SNP Ružomberok – a faculty hospital where clinical practices take place. The tradition of this hospital has been developing for almost 100 years. All clinics are staffed by highly qualified doctors, nurses and support staff. The hospital is equipped with modern equipment and provides medical needs in the Slovak Army, in Liptov and in other regions of the Slovak Republic. The Faculty of Health Sciences also provides postgraduate education for nurses in two specialist fields: Intensive Nursing Care for Adults (currently re-accredited from 2019) and Nursing Care for Adults (from 2020) and the certified work activity Functional Investigation Methods (re-accredited from 2020). As the first and only university in Slovakia, it offers students in the 2nd year of all full-time bachelor study programs the opportunity to study in this optional subject.
