Behealth | 2nd NewsLetter
Dear professional colleagues active in the area of nursing vocational education and training and work-based learning.
This newsletter informs about progress of the multinational 24 months Erasmus+ project
During this project stage (February 2025 – October 2025):
- BeHealth partners finalized an overview of quality assurance practices and frameworks used in the countries represented by the participating organizations
- Organized a 2 day joint meeting of all participants in Cyprus at the end of May where they worked to identify possible gaps in the existing training quality assurance systems
- Discussed the most appropriate graphic presentation options to use in the 360 degree Control tool during the BEHEALTH 360 Control Tool Workshop & TPM 2.
- Worked on Content development for the Intelligent Mentoring Tool
- Submitted the BEHEALTH periodic report
Main outputs of this project stage:
QA FRAMEWORK FOR VET PROVIDERS OFFERING NURSING QUALIFICATIONS (IEK DELTA, MAY 2025)
Document provides the basic principles that should be applied for developing a QA strategy for VET organisations providing nursing education in line with the international and EU standards. It will be complemented by the 360-degree self-assessment tool. The present document defines basic principles regarding international and European quality standards, as well as practical guidelines for their adaptation and integration of these standards.
QUALITY ASSURANCE FRAMEWORK FOR ORGANISATIONS OFFERING NURSING WORK-BASED LEARNING (Q-IMPULZ JUNE 2025)
Report includes a description of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) of organisations providing Nursing Work-Based Learning (NWBL) within their Vocational Education and Training (VET), broken down by different levels of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), National Qualification Frameworks (NQF) and Quality Assurance (QA) standards.
360-DEGREE CONTROL TOOL FOR VET PROVIDERS OFFERING NURSING QUALIFICATIONS (IEK DELTA, JULY 2025)
Document provides the basic structure of the 360-degree self-assessment tool, which will work as an integrated evaluation tool of the efficiency of the QA system of nursing VET providers and is in line with global and EU standards. The questions for the assessment apply to all target groups and are integrated in the presented document and will be digitalized subsequently. Therefore, the present document defines and provides the core assessment questions for all target groups and specific questions for General management / administration / training staff / students.
360-DEGREE CONTROL TOOL WITHIN THE QA FRAMEWORK FOR ORGANISATIONS OFFERING NURSING WBL (Q-IMPULZ JULY 2025)
This result of the BEHEALTH project involves the development of a 360-degree control tool that will serve as the basis for an Intelligent Mentoring Tool (IMT), enabling all stakeholders to evaluate the internal quality assurance system of NWBL institutions. The evaluation survey will be conducted in institutions that provide NWBL within NVET and have an internal quality assurance system (IQAS) in place, or those that wish to implement it and want to know the level of maturity of their system. The survey will include the perspectives of institutional managers, nursing educators and clinical instructors, nursing students, and employers of nursing graduates, providing information for quality improvement.
For your information we provide you with the 2 versions of the “model” we are working with.

All of the BEHEALTH QA tools are firmly rooted in EQAVET principles, promoting a systematic approach to quality assurance through clear planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement cycles in nursing education. They also align with the European Care Strategy by supporting the development of competent care professionals and reinforcing quality in long-term care systems. Furthermore, the tools support the twin transition—green and digital—by integrating digital self-assessment mechanisms and promoting sustainable training environments, thus contributing to the modernization and resilience of the Health VET sector in Europe.
We would like to conclude the newsletter with a short preview of what is coming in late 2025 and beginning of 2026:
