Benchmarking of the International and EU Quality Assurance Frameworks in Nursing
This report reviews and compares European and international quality assurance frameworks relevant to vocational education and work-based learning in nursing. It identifies key standards and approaches, providing the foundation for the BEHEALTH quality assurance frameworks and supporting nursing education and training providers in improving their practices.
Integrated Quality Assurance Frameworks and 360° Control Tools for VET in Nursing
In the context of the BEHEALTH project, comprehensive quality assurance (QA) frameworks are created which align with EU standards. The frameworks are specifically designed for organizations offering VET education in nursing and work-based learning (WBL). These frameworks serve as a foundation for improving QA processes, ensuring they are adaptable to technological and environmental changes by integrating twin transition skills. Additionally, innovative 360-degree control tools are developed to provide multi-stakeholder feedback, enabling organizations to evaluate their QA strategies holistically.

BEHEALTH Intelligent Mentoring Tool
The BEHEALTH Intelligent Mentoring Tool (IMT) constitutes a comprehensive “one-stop shop” solution designed to support continuous quality assurance (QA) evaluation and strategic planning for VET and WBL providers in nursing. By integrating the project’s 360-degree control tools and linking them to the corresponding QA frameworks through detailed reporting, the IMT guides organizations in identifying key areas for improvement, enhancing their overall QA processes.
Pilot delivery of the BEHEALTH tools
By piloting the BEHEALTH project’s innovative assessment tools, VET providers and organizations offering WBL in the nursing sector were able to evaluate their practices against European QA standards and develop strategies for continuous improvement. This impact led to higher-quality nursing education and, ultimately, better healthcare services.
The pilot participants were awarded the BEHEALTH Digital Badge in recognition of their achievement in quality assurance.
